About the UNC Equastrian Team
The UNC Equestrian team is a club sport open to anyone with or without experience with horses. This team allows the rider to gain experience with hunter jumpers and working with horses while providing a fun team environment with lessons, shows, socials, and many other amazing opportunities.
An array of opportunities
Join the team and be able to compete with other schools around the state and participate in many volunteering oppertunities that help support the team, school, and so many others!
- Compete against other schools in our region.
- Get points for each place to qualify for regionals, zones, and nationals.
- Win other awards such as high point rider or high point team.
Competitions
- Volunteer at UNC Football and Basketball games.
- Work with organizations such as Horse and Buddy to gain more experience in helping others ride.
- Help with food drives and bale sales to help those in need and raise money for the team.
